Actors Jason Momoa<\/a> and Dave Bautista will soon star in a new movie, \u201cThe Wrecking Crew,\u201d which was filmed in Hawai\u2019i and New Zealand<\/a>.\u00a0It will start streaming globally on Prime Video on Jan. 28.<\/p>\n

Momoa, known for his roles as Aquaman in \u201cAquaman and the Lost Kingdom,\u201d the warlord Khal Drogo in \u201cGame of Thrones,\u201d and \u2014 most recently\u00a0 \u2014 Ka\u02bbiana in \u201cChief of War,\u201d plays one of the estranged half brothers. Bautista, known for his roles as Drax in \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy,\u201d and Sapper Morton in \u201cBlade Runner,\u201d plays the other one. <\/p>\n

The action comedy features the estranged brothers, Jonny (Momoa) and James (Bautista) who must reunite when their father dies mysteriously. The brothers discover a conspiracy with the power to tear their family apart. The movie is set in Hawai\u02bbi. It was directed by \u00c1ngel Manuel Soto (\u201cBlue Beetle\u201d in 2023) and written by Jonathan Tropper.<\/p>\n

It stars Claes Bang, Jacob Batalon, Miyavi, Stephen Root and Morena Baccarin and actors who appear in \u201cChief of War\u201d including Temuera Morrison<\/a>, who plays King Kahekili in the series, and Roimata Fox<\/a>, who is Taula. <\/p>\n

The movie also features actors from Disney\u2019s live action version of \u201cLilo & Stitch\u201d (2025), including Maia Kealoha<\/a>, who played Lilo, and David Hekili Kenui Bell<\/a>, who was appears in the movie with shave ice, and died a few weeks after its release in theaters. Frankie Adams<\/a>, who plays Sina, Moana\u2019s mother, in Disney\u2019s live action movie \u201cMoana,\u201d which is set to release later this year, is also in \u201cThe Wrecking Crew.\u201d<\/p>\n
