When host Graham Norton prompted Pratt to share how much his father-in-law loves Christmas, the \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d actor replied, \u201cHis love language is giving gifts, that\u2019s for sure. He just goes all out with his gifts.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pratt continued, \u201cThis year, one was like a six foot by eight foot portrait painting of all three of my children and him as Santa Claus, and it\u2019s very lifelike and it\u2019s very big and it\u2019s him as Santa Claus and then the three kids peering around the Christmas tree seeing him eat a cookie.\u201d<\/p>\n
As the audience laughed, Norton quipped that the present couldn\u2019t be on display the entire year. <\/p>\n
\u201cYeah, I\u2019m not sure exactly what we\u2019re supposed to do with that for the rest of the year,\u201d Pratt agreed. \u201cI think we\u2019ll have to break that out in November sometime.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that the present is so large it will be difficult to store it. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s big. It\u2019s enframed and it\u2019s a big massive canvas,\u201d he explained before also describing the present as \u201ca wonderful decoration\u201d and \u201cvery thoughtful gift\u201d for his family.<\/p>\n
The action star and Pratt Schwarzenegger share three children together<\/a>: 5-year-old daughter Lyla Maria, 3-year-old daughter Eloise Christina and 1-year-old son Ford Fitzgerald. He is also a father to 13-year-old son Jack from his previous marriage to Anna Faris. <\/p>\n Pratt received another unique present from Schwarzenegger, as well. <\/p>\n \u201cHe also gave me a pair of crocodile boots that he wore in a movie,\u201d Pratt revealed. \u201cWe have the same size feet.\u201d<\/p>\n Pratt appeared on \u201cThe Graham Norton Show\u201d with Cynthia Erivo, comedian and writer Dawn French and comedian Rob Becket. <\/p>\n After he shared his personal gift, the two comedians playfully teased him that he just received an old pair of shoes. \u201cThey\u2019re regifted but they are iconic. He wore them in some movie\u2026\u201d Pratt pushed back.<\/p>\n Becket chimed in and joked, \u201cSo iconic you can\u2019t remember the film?\u201d<\/p>\n Pratt has spoken about his close relationship with his father-in-law before. He revealed during an interview with \u201cNew York Live\u201d<\/a> in 2021 that Schwarzenegger frequently quotes iconic lines from his movies<\/a> when he is around his family. <\/p>\n \u201cHe does it all the time, too. He\u2019ll say lines from his movies and stuff. He\u2019ll walk out and be like, \u2018I\u2019ll be back,\u2019\u201d he shared. The interview was part of the promotional run for Pratt\u2019s movie \u201cThe Tomorrow War,\u201d which included a scene where he said a slightly different version of that same Schwarzenegger line. <\/p>\n \u201cI showed it in front of the whole family and I said, \u2018I do have a line. I say, I will be back,\u2019\u201d he recalled. \u201cAnd you\u2019ll see it just pales in comparison to anytime you\u2019ve ever delivered that iconic line. I\u2019m just saying it like a guy who\u2019s going into the room. There\u2019s nothing iconic about it.\u201d<\/p>\n The respect between the two is mutual as Schwarzenegger proudly gushed about his son-in-law when \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3\u201d<\/a> was released in 2023. <\/p>\n At the time, Schwarzenegger tweeted<\/a>, \u201cI saw #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 last night and WOW. @prattprattpratt, you crushed it. A non-stop, perfect mix of comedy and action.
