Stepping out for the Variety & Golden Globes Pre-Golden Globes Party on January 9, the Almost Famous<\/a> actress wore a black gown that was more lace than dress. Styled by Sophie Lopez, she wore the witchy, wintery Long Open Neck Lace Dress<\/a> by Nina Ricci, which features a delicate sheer black lace design, with a few strategic satin panels. The gown has long sleeves, a wide sweetheart neckline and a fluttery, feminine midiskirt. It’s almost entirely lace, apart from the tiny bow bra across the chest and the matching miniskirt panel.<\/p>\n All lace and bra.<\/p>\n Getty<\/p>\n Hudson kept things simple, going sans necklace and wearing a pair of dainty diamond drop earrings. She switched things up in the hair department, rocking an intricate braided updo courtesy of Renato Campora, and went for a bold, smokey makeup look by Tonya Brewer.
