The 2026 Golden Globes nominations<\/a> featured plenty of surprises, snubs, and the usually anointed suspects<\/a> ahead of the January 11 ceremony. Did the winners? Find out below. In a post-Hollywood Foreign Press Association Golden Globes<\/a> world, these nominees and winners taking place ahead of the Academy Awards<\/a> have a rare chance to influence the Oscars.<\/p>\n

Unlike the Screen Actors Guild\u2019s Actor Awards<\/a> nominations, the Golden Globes feature a heavily international roll call, with multiple nods for \u201cThe Secret Agent,\u201d \u201cSentimental Value,\u201d \u201cIt Was Just an Accident,\u201d and other international films that weren\u2019t released stateside by Neon.<\/p>\n

Comedian Nikki Glaser once again hosted the ceremony, with high expectations upon her after her Hollywood-skewering opening monologue last year. (She didn\u2019t disappoint in yet another ribbing<\/a>.) While \u201cOne Battle After Another\u201d swept yet another awards show tonight, there were still some surprises (see \u201cThe Secret Agent\u2019s\u201d strong taking), so we\u2019re hoping the Globes influence what has been a largely predictable awards season so far.<\/p>\n
