American streamer and YouTube sensation IShowSpeed on Monday
\nwent live from the Maasai Mara, drawing global attention to one of Kenya\u2019s most
\niconic wildlife destinations.<\/p>\n

The broadcast, which attracted hundreds of thousands of
\nviewers within minutes, is one of the most-watched creator live streams from
\nthe reserve in recent months.<\/p>\n

Speed, known for his high-energy personality and spontaneous
\nreactions, began the live stream shortly after arriving in the Mara with a local
\ntour team accompanying him and his team.<\/p>\n

\u201cChat, we are here in the safari wildlife in Kenya and guess
\nwhat I am looking at right now?\u201d Speed began with a smile on his face.<\/p>\n

He continued by noting that today\u2019s stream was going to be
\ndifferent from his first stream in Kenya, which had been in Nairobi.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will be doing safari activities and tribe as well. After
\nthe safari, we will be linking up with the Maasai\u00a0<\/a>and engage in lots of activities with them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday is going to be a little bit of a different stream
\nfrom yesterday, far apart from the city stream. This is a totally different stream.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further noted that he was looking at wild lions which he
\nwanted to get more closer to.<\/p>\n

The live streamer said that the stream was going to be great
\nand enjoyable.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis stream will be way more slower compared to the other, which was full of rush. We are out in the wild,\u201d Speed said.<\/p>\n

The live stream captured the creator\u2019s first real-time
\nreactions to wildlife sightings, including elephants, giraffes, and a pride of
\nlions resting under an acacia tree.<\/p>\n

The streamer repeatedly expressed excitement at the
\nproximity to the animals, telling viewers, \u201cThis is crazy. I\u2019ve never seen
\nanything like this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tour guides accompanying him were heard explaining animal
\nbehaviour and safety protocols as the audience interacted through a rapid flow
\nof comments on the chat section.<\/p>\n

Throughout the stream, Speed emphasised how different the
\nexperience felt compared to watching wildlife online. <\/p>\n

The American content creator and streamer on Sunday caused a stir in Nairobi\u2019s Central Business District as hundreds of fans mobbed his convoy during an impromptu visit.<\/p>\n

He received an enthusiastic welcome as boda boda and cars trailed behind him, with crowds darting across streets and sidewalks to catch a glimpse or record videos on their phones.<\/p>\n

The brief stopover temporarily disrupted activity in parts of the CBD as fans jostled to interact with him.<\/p>\n

The visit follows growing interest in Kenya among high-profile digital creators and celebrities leveraging large global online audiences.<\/p>\n

As of Sunday, IshowSpeed\u2019s YouTube channel had amassed more than 47.9 million views, accompanied by Kenyan influencer Gen Z Goliath and Ugandan sensation Tenge Tenge.<\/p>\n
