\n\tAlthough Jon Cryer<\/a> recently appeared in Charlie Sheen<\/a>\u2018s documentary, the former onscreen brothers appear to have lost touch off-screen.<\/p>\n

\n\tDiscussing his new Netflix<\/a> documentary aka Charlie Sheen<\/a>, the Golden Globe winner recently revealed \u201cthe only person I didn\u2019t call personally to participate in the doc\u201d was his Two and a Half Men<\/a> co-star.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd the only reason I didn\u2019t call him was because I didn\u2019t have the right number for him, so the director [Andrew Renzi] reached out to him,\u201d he told People<\/a>. \u201cBut when I saw everything that Jon spoke about, so honestly and very compassionately, I wrote to him and I said, \u2018Hey, thank you for your contributions, and I\u2019m sorry we didn\u2019t connect personally. I hope to see you around the campus.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSheen added, \u201cI\u2019m thinking I wrote to the wrong number. It\u2019s not like Jon did not respond. He\u2019s super responsible like that. So if you\u2019re reading this, Jon, DM me your new number!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Two and a Half Men, hedonistic jingle writer Charlie Harper\u2019s (Sheen) life is thrown for a loop when his recently divorced brother Alan (Cryer) moves into the bachelor\u2019s beachfront house with his son Jake (Angus T. Jones). Following Charlie\u2019s death on the show, billionaire Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) bought the house and filled out the trio.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmid his addiction battle, Sheen was fired from the show<\/a> in 2011 after taking public swipes at CBS, Warner Bros. and series co-creator Chuck Lorre. Season 8 was cut short amid the ordeal, and Kutcher replaced Sheen for the remainder of the series.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing Cryer\u2019s appearance in the doc, in which he theorized about the root of Sheen\u2019s addiction struggles were fueled by a low sense of self-confidence, Sheen praised his \u201creally insightful\u201d and \u201ccompassionate\u201d words, telling People, \u201cIt was really cool to hear from his perspective. He was in the line of fire with all that stupid s\u2014 going on, and it was affecting him and his family and his career and all that. I can\u2019t debate anything that he said.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe nailed that, and I\u2019m so glad he opened that door, because it gave me a chance to really start thinking about that,\u201d he explained. \u201cHe said, \u2018He\u2019s a guy that doesn\u2019t believe he deserves the things he has, or that it was he earned,\u2019 and I was like, \u2018Whoa.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSheen added, \u201cSuddenly, I felt like I was on a couch in Jon\u2019s therapy office, and he was dead on. That\u2019s something that I\u2019ve felt my whole life, because I had no formal training. I had no formal education, I didn\u2019t even finish high school. And suddenly I\u2019m working and traveling, I\u2019m a star and all this stuff. It just happened. There was no plan.
