And now, Gaten discussing his own troubling experience of being a child star has also been unearthed on social media, with Gaten recalling the time that a woman in her 40s admitted to him that she\u2019d had a crush on him since he was 13 years old.\"<\/p>\n

Speaking on an episode of Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum<\/a> back in 2024, Gaten was asked if he had any \u201cfunny stories about meeting fans,\u201d to which the then-21-year-old actor replied: \u201c\u2018Funny\u2019s\u2019 a way to say it, there are some that are a little uncomfortable.\u201d\"<\/p>\n

\u201cI did one very, very recently\u2026 This is not very funny, but the reactions around it were quite funny where this, like, woman in her 40s, she said straight up: \u2018I\u2019ve had a crush on you since you were 13,\u2019\u201d Gaten shared. \u201cAnd I was like: \u2018That\u2019s upsetting,\u2019 and I was like, I\u2019m sure she just meant: \u2018Awh, this kid\u2019s cute,\u2019 but then she doubled down. Like: \u2018I\u2019m aware of the age difference,\u2019 then I was like: \u2018\u2026Alright.\u2019\u201d\"<\/p>\n

\u201cHer daughter was with her,\u201d he went on. \u201cAnd her daughter goes: \u2018Mom, what the fuck?!\u2019 I swear to god, this girl must have been about 13.\u201d When asked if the daughter\u2019s response made him laugh in the moment, Gaten said that he purposefully held back his laughter, adding: \u201cI couldn\u2019t; I was like: \u2018Thank you guys for coming!\u2019 My mom was right there, my mother was sitting next to me.
