\u201cThey are all lies and I did not do anything to those little boys. And I\u2019m going to fight it. I\u2019m going to fight it with a great team, and I\u2019m going to be exonerated. I know I am because this is all so wrong and all lies.<\/p>\n

He has not yet been charged with any crimes.<\/p>\n
An officer reportedly spoke with two parents who claimed that their children were actors on the Fox series The Cleaning Lady in 2024.<\/p>\n
Busfield, who worked on the programme from 2022 to 2025 as a director, allegedly \u201cgrew closer to the boys\u201d during their time shooting the show together.<\/p>\n
The star, 68, allegedly told the kids to call him \u201cUncle Tim\u201d and tickled them on their stomach and legs, per the warrant filed by Albuquerque police on January 4.<\/p>\n
Hospital staff reportedly told the responding officers that it appeared the children had been groomed.<\/p>\n
According to court documents, one of the child actors told a therapist that Busfield touched his \u201cgenitalia\u201d and \u201cbottom\u201d while in a bedroom on the set of the TV show, had issues with bed-wetting and was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety, and suffered from nightmares about the incidents.<\/p>\n
Busfield allegedly told investigators when being questioned: \u201cI don\u2019t remember overtly tickling the boys ever, but it wouldn\u2019t be uncommon for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Warner Bros launched their own investigation into the alleged incidents following an anonymous tip.<\/p>\n
Fox and Warner Bros have since released a statement saying they are co-operating with law enforcement.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe health and safety of our cast and crew is always our top priority, especially the safety of minors on our productions,\u201d said the Hollywood studios.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe take all allegations of misconduct very seriously and have systems in place to promptly and thoroughly investigate and, when needed, take appropriate action,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are aware of the current charges against Mr Busfield and have been and will continue to co-operate with law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n
Busfield is known for appearances in The West Wing, Field of Dreams, and Thirtysomething, the latter of which won him an Emmy for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series in 1991. He is married to actress Melissa Gilbert.<\/p>\n
