Matt said the idea of Luciana, who produces his and Affleck\u2019s new movie, The Rip, once thinking his co-star was \u201ccute\u201d did not stay with him.<\/p>\n
Affleck said: \u201cShe\u2019s a great producer and a really good friend, and yeah, I never got that vibe from her. So I think something I did in real life rubbed it off.\u201d<\/p>\n
Matt, who married Luciana during a private ceremony in Manhattan, New York, in December 2005, said: \u201cFinally, she met him and all that went away.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the pair\u2019s interview on The Howard Stern Show, Affleck also shared he has \u201cbeen witness to a lot of beautiful, lovely things\u201d from Matt and Luciana.<\/p>\n
Affleck, who was married to 53-year-old actor Jennifer Garner from 2005 until they split in 2015, with their divorce finalised in 2018, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a really gorgeous marriage and friendship and two people who, when they\u2019re apart and independent of one another, are one another\u2019s partner.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t see the first day, but I have a feeling it\u2019s improved.\u201d<\/p>\n
As Damon and Affleck\u2019s segment came to a close, the latter, who was hitched to 56-year-old singer Jennifer Lopez in 2022, but split in 2024, with their divorce finalised in 2025, joked he \u201cshould ask Lucy what her friend\u2019s number is\u201d to bring the situation full circle.<\/p>\n
But Damon, who has daughters, Alexia, 25, Isabella, 19, Gia, 17, and Stella, 15, with Luciana, and is also stepdad to Alexia, 27, with whom Luciana has with her ex-husband, Arbello Barroso, pointed out: \u201cShe\u2019s married.\u201d<\/p>\n
Affleck said: \u201cI just thought it was a funny joke \u2013 I can\u2019t resist.
