Discovery\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/hbo-max\/\" id=\"auto-tag_hbo-max\" data-tag=\"hbo-max\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HBO Max<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/a24\/\" id=\"auto-tag_a24\" data-tag=\"a24\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A24<\/a> inked a renewal of their licensing pact that will continue to bring the indie studio\u2019s films exclusively to HBO and HBO Max in the Pay-1 TV window in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tUnder the multiyear agreement, HBO Max subscribers will have to A24 movies as they enter the streaming window, including \u201cMarty Supreme\u201d starring Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and \u201cThe Moment\u201d starring Charli xcx. In addition, the deal provides access to a library of dozens of A24 films.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWBD and A24 announced their <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2023\/tv\/news\/a24-hbo-max-stream-exclusively-output-deal-priscilla-iron-claw-1235824282\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">initial licensing deal for HBO and HBO Max in December 2023<\/a>, after A24\u2019s output deal with Showtime expired. According to Warner Bros. Discovery, half of A24\u2019s Pay-1 titles ranked among HBO Max\u2019s top 10 movies within the first two weeks of their premiere on the service in 2025. In addition, nearly 70% of HBO Max viewers who watched an A24 film returned for more, watching an average of four titles from the studio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cA24 has been an incredible partner, bringing a slate of\u202ftalented creative voices and an engaged audience base to the platform,\u201d said Royce Battleman, executive VP of global content acquisitions for Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Studios, Turner Classic Movies, Studio Ghibli and other partners.
