The 2018 Rabbitohs Women\u2019s Player of the Year was arrested on Tuesday after she allegedly turned up at her former partner\u2019s home overnight to confront her.<\/p>\n
Police said she tried to get into the woman\u2019s car and punched the side of the vehicle while the woman called emergency services, the Daily Mail reported.<\/p>\n
She now faces charges of stalking\/intimidation with the intention of fear or physical harm (DV), and using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend.<\/p>\n
Studdon has a previous conviction for domestic violence in 2015.<\/p>\n
In a separate incident, police moved to apply for an apprehended domestic violence order after allegations that she made a \u201cthroat-slitting gesture\u201d towards another former partner.<\/p>\n
Prosecutor Christopher Manning recommended to the court that Studdon, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, \u201cposed a risk\u201d to the alleged victim and should remain in custody.<\/p>\n
She was granted bail after paying $5000, but was banned from using social media.<\/p>\n
Studdon was part of the 2017 Jillaroos squad that went on to win the Women\u2019s Rugby League Cup.<\/p>\n
The award-winning halfback is currently unsigned. Her lawyer told the court she had a potential contract offer with the North Queensland Cowboys for next season, Fox Sports reported.<\/p>\n
