PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Get ready to climb the steps next time you want to pose with the Rocky <\/a>statue at the Philadelphia Art Museum<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the city’s Art Commission voted to move the iconic landmark from the bottom of the steps to the top permanently.<\/p>\n

Before the statue reaches its final spot, it will be displayed inside the museum for the first time as part of an exhibit in April.<\/p>\n

Then, in August, the original statue will be installed nearly 14 feet above the museum steps, while the loaner Rocky statue will be sent to Sylvester Stallone.<\/p>\n
