The Prince and Princess of Wales<\/a> recently made a bold move which could prove effective against Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle\u2019s reported \u201cplot\u201d to reestablish themselves in Britain, a royal commentator has claimed. Prince Willian<\/a> and Princess Catherine hired crisis-management expert Liza Ravenscroft<\/a> in a non-crisis role, working on day-to-day press interaction.<\/p>\n

Ms Ravenscroft was reportedly recommended by Julian Payne, a former communications secretary to Charles and Queen Camilla and the current CEO of Edelman. A source told the Mail on Sunday<\/a>: “It is unlikely to be a coincidence that one of his most senior and respected members of staff has taken a key role in William’s office after a period of turmoil – and when they are looking for closer alignment between Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace as minds turn to William’s eventual succession”.<\/p>\n

Now, a royal commentator weighed in on the couple\u2019s bold move and explained how it can help them in the future as Harry and Meghan prepare to materialise<\/a> their establishment \u201cplot\u201d to win back the public\u2019s affection.<\/p>\n

The Sussexes are awaiting a reassessment of their security levels in the UK, six years after they quit the Firm for a new life in America.<\/p>\n

The Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) will reassess Harry\u2019s threat level for the first time in six years and present its findings in the following weeks.<\/p>\n

If it goes in the Sussexes’ favour, the couple will be given back their armed, tax-funded police security and will likely visit the UK more often.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail\u2019<\/a>s Diary Editor, Richard Eden, claimed there is a reason William and Catherine made the new hire.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cHer [Ms Ravenscroft\u2019s] CV stresses that she has told companies \u2018how to get past an issue as quickly as possible with minimum dents….It\u2019s often front-page stuff: from boycott campaigns to sexual allegations to serious safety issues, geopolitical and ethical risks\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, everyone at Kensington Palace is desperately keen to emphasise that she has been hired for her general abilities as a communications expert and not just because of her experience at dealing with crises.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source said: \u201cLiza is joining in a non-crisis role based in the KP press office, working on the day-to-day Press interaction Kensington Palace has.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople who work in communications for the Royal Household come from an array of backgrounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the royal commentator speculated that the Waleses could know that \u201cthere may be trouble ahead\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said the latest stories about the Sussexes\u2019 return to Britain \u201cserve to put pressure on the King and the rest of the Royal Family to roll out the red carpet for the Sussexes, even though the California-based couple have never apologised for their disgraceful attacks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Eden also claimed that this \u201cPR offensive is part of the establishment \u2018plot\u2019\u201d which allegedly aims to restore Harry and Meghan \u201cto the affections of the British public\u201d.<\/p>\n
