As a completely underrated feature, it means you can leave your chunky wallet and purse at home \u2013 eliminating the chance of misplacing them or having cash swiped from your fingertips.<\/p>\n

But in a secret addition to the Wallet app, Apple has dropped a feature that could save you a lot of time.<\/p>\n

Apple silently adds \u2018save card\u2019 feature to the Wallet app<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve all misplaced a purse or our keys, and not everyone is as lucky as this Michigan man<\/a>, who was mailed his cash-flush leather wallet all the way from Minnesota after it was found inside a car engine.<\/p>\n

Nowadays, that whole saga is prevented by the iPhone Wallet, and you can even store your virtual keys inside the app<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But a brand-new feature that has come to light is saving users even more time, especially when online shopping.<\/p>\n

While Apple Pay is a go-to option in your wallet, not every site has the option to use the quick-pay feature, launching that disgruntled stomp around the house to find your card details.<\/p>\n

But not anymore, thanks to the \u2018save card\u2019 option. <\/p>\n

The new feature allows people to scan their card details and store them in a secure password folder, allowing access whenever they need them.<\/p>\n

Instead of dusting off your wallet, you can now just tap into the Wallet app, select the \u2018123\u2019 password icon on your selected card, log in through your passkey \u2013 preferably face recognition -and have your details at hand.<\/p>\n

\u201cI kept checking the Passwords app to see whether there was an option to save credit card details, but to no avail,\u201d one user wrote on Reddit<\/a>, highlighting the tab.<\/p>\n

\u201cI then realized that in the Wallet app, there\u2019s an icon at the top which stores all the data so that you can refer to it!<\/p>\n
