Aside from the rate of aging, the platform assesses factors affecting the rate of aging in a particular individual. From here, the platform recommends nutrients and ingredients that address these factors. <\/p>\n
\u201cFor example, rather than simply stating that blood glucose levels are high, the platform shows how the current glucose status may be linked to antioxidant capacity, liver health, body fat regulation and exercise performance over time,\u201d the spokesperson said. <\/p>\n
In this case, if antioxidant management is identified as a priority, the platform then provides information on related nutrients and ingredients such as acerola concentrate, vitamin C and selenium that may help support antioxidant function.<\/p>\n
This approach is what the company terms as \u201chuman physiological network\u201d, which illustrates the interconnections and interactions among body tissues, organs, health indicators and lifestyle factors. <\/p>\n
According to Amway Korea, this allows users to understand health not through isolated numbers or single indicators but through broader functional relationships within the body. <\/p>\n

According to Amway Korea, the platform taps into an already well-established health data ecosystem, where most individuals\u2019 health data is readily available. Through the personalized platform, Amway Korea seeks to make use of these readily available data in providing individualized health recommendations. <\/p>\n
\u201cWhile the paradigm of health management is shifting from treatment to prevention and personalized care, many people still stop at simply reviewing health-check results,\u201d said Eun-Ja Shin, managing director of Amway Korea, in a press release. \u201cmyWellness LAB enables a deeper, more precise understanding of individual health conditions and presents actionable, evidence-based directions for change. According to Amway Korea, some of these data, like the health check-up data and body composition results, are often readily available, as Koreans usually take health check-ups as part of the National Health Insurance Service, while employed individuals typically receive annual check-ups. <\/p>\n
A health management perception survey conducted by Amway Korea among 1,000 adults between the ages of 20 and 60 found that eight out of 10 respondents actively receive health check-ups every year.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, body composition data is also accessible in public areas, including hospitals, schools, residential community facilities and gyms. <\/p>\n
Amway itself also runs 14 Business & Brand Centers that provide free body composition testing. <\/p>\n
\u201cSouth Korea already has a well-established infrastructure in which health data is routinely collected in daily life,\u201d the Amway spokesperson said. <\/p>\n

The platform analyzes an individual\u2019s health status using a patented artificial intelligence (AI) analysis. <\/p>\n
To date, it has accumulated large-scale Korean population health datasets for over a decade. <\/p>\n
A user\u2019s health data is then compared with the database, which also allows users to see where they stand both in terms of score and relative ranking within the same age and gender group.<\/p>\n
The AI algorithms applied in myWellness LAB were developed using large-scale datasets that include Korean health check-up and lifestyle data, multi-omics data, and other big data sources obtained through clinical trials, large observational studies, and public datasets. <\/p>\n
The company\u2019s AI technology to date has earned four registered patents, has four patent applications pending, and has been featured in 17 papers published in international academic journals.<\/p>\n
