Fisher pleaded guilty to reckless assault charges for the shooting and served seven years in prison.<\/p>\n Mary Jo, who remained a tabloid fixture, survived the harrowing attack and would spend decades recovering from traumatic injuries, emotional turmoil and public humiliation, according to A&E TV.
