One of the big questions for many users looking forward to the Galaxy S26 Ultra<\/a> is what color options will actually be available when the phone releases. And we may now have an answer.<\/p>\n

In a recent post on X, well-known leaker IceUniverse <\/a>showed off images of four SIM card trays for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The images show four potential color options that match a prior post <\/a>by IU that included the names for the colors, including Black Shadow, White Shadow, and “Galactial” Blue. However, the big difference from previous rumors is that the new hero color (which is the term the industry uses for its primary color used in marketing material) will be a purple “Ultraviolet” option.<\/p>\n

This new violet option appears to be replacing the orange color <\/a>that we had seen in prior leaks last year. On top of IceUniverse’s post, this new violet color was also mentioned by Ahmed Qwaider<\/a>, who reiterated that violet would be the new hero color and that Orange would not be among the S26 Ultra’s standard colors.<\/p>\n

While it appears that Samsung may not follow Apple when it comes to color, it may do so in another way. All the color names lack the word \u201ctitanium,\u201d which could confirm rumors that Samsung may no longer use a titanium frame for the Ultra<\/a>. This would follow in Apple’s footsteps, which did away with the material for the iPhone 17 Pro<\/a> models in favor of aluminum.<\/p>\n

Outside of the frame, we have heard a lot of rumors about the upcoming phone and what it might include. While the overall design isn\u2019t expected to look all that different, there are some rumored hardware differences.<\/p>\n

For instance, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be noticeably thinner<\/a> than the Galaxy S25 Ultra and feature a brighter display<\/a>. We\u2019ve also seen that, while Samsung will keep the 200MP main camera<\/a>, it will offer a new 24MP shooting mode<\/a>. There are also indications that Samsung could increase the RAM to 16GB, although this could lead to potential price rises<\/a> thanks to the current RAM shortages, and improve the wired charging speeds of 60W<\/a>, 15W more than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and include 25W wireless charging. <\/a><\/p>\n

There are still a lot of questions about the next generation of Samsung phones, and we won\u2019t know anything for certain until the devices are unveiled at the next Galaxy Unpacked, which appears to be set for February 25<\/a>.
