During Hilary Duff<\/a>\u2019s first headlining concert in 2008, she debuted an unreleased song, \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk\u201d from her upcoming album, luck\u2026 or something about someone in her family that she yearns to reconnect with after years of not talking. Could it be about her sister, Haylie? Some fans seem to think so. Here\u2019s everything we know about Hilary\u2019s new song and what it could possibly be about.<\/p>\n In the pre-chorus, Hilary sings, \u201c\u2019Cause we come from the same home, the same blood\/A different combination, but the same mom,\u201d alluding that the song\u2019s muse is about her sibling. Per the lyrics, it seems like Hilary isn\u2019t completely sure what went wrong in the relationship: \u201cI\u2019m not sure when it happened\/Not even sure what it was about\/If\u2005I\u2005did something different\/ Would\u2005you feel something different?\u201d She wonders if it was jealousy \u2014 Haylie would perform alongside Hilary growing up. She was the opener on Hilary\u2019s Most Wanted Tour in 2004 and co-starred alongside her in the movie Material Girls. But Hilary sings that she would \u201csell it all to break you off the bigger half.\u201d She does hope for some sort of truce between the sisters, ending the song with, \u201cI\u2019ll hear you out, you\u2019ll hear me out on the couch\/Get back to how we were as kids\/And let\u2019s break it down.\u201d<\/p>\n The two haven\u2019t been publicly photographed together since 2019, and for the past few years, fans have wondered<\/a> whether they\u2019re even talking. Haylie briefly mentioned Hilary\u2019s 2019 wedding to Matthew Koma to the press, but some think it was unclear whether she was in attendance. \u201cShe looked so stunningly beautiful,\u201d Haylie told US Weekly<\/a> in January 2020. \u201cIt was a really special day. It was a really, really beautiful day.\u201d Shortly before in 2019, Haylie gave a few more details about Hilary\u2019s wedding plans, telling US Weekly<\/a>, \u201cShe will have a wedding [because] she\u2019s the good daughter that does, like, everything the way she\u2019s supposed to. I\u2019m not really helping her plan.
