As Sonarworks explains, the app creates an image of the user\u2019s head, ears and shoulders via the phone\u2019s camera, leveraging Dolby tech to create a personalised profile compatible with Dolby Atmos creation tools.<\/p>\n<p>This file can then be loaded into the Dolby Atmos Renderer or any compatible DAW. Sonarworks says monitoring with this profile can \u201cimprove spatial and timbral accuracy of Dolby Atmos headphone mixes, allowing a more accurate and consistent monitoring experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery creator\u2019s physical characteristics are unique, which affects how they experience immersive audio over headphones,\u201d says David Gould, Sr. Director of Content Creation and Distribution at Dolby Laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy combining Dolby\u2019s technology with Sonarworks\u2019 calibration expertise, the app enables more accurate Dolby Atmos monitoring.
