That’s because the beloved daytime host’s husband, Mark Consuelos<\/a>, and their son, Joaquin Consuelos<\/a>, will each be on Broadway at the same time \u2014 in two different revivals!<\/p>\n Mark, 54, will join Golden Globe-winner Rose Byrne and Tony Award-winner Kelli O\u2019Hara in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s restaging of No\u00ebl Coward’s Fallen Angels<\/a>. He’ll portray Maurice Duclos, the secret lover of the women’s characters.<\/p>\n The play \u2014 which will also star Tracee Chimo, Christopher Fitzgerald and Aasif Mandvi \u2014 will begin preview performances at the Todd Haimes Theatre on Friday, March 27, and open officially on Sunday, April 19. Todd Freeman, \u00a0Jonathan Cake, John Drea, Michael Benjamin Washington, Tasha Lawrence, Jake Silbermann, Jake Termine, Karl Green and Jack Falahe among its cast. Previews begin Friday, March 6 at the Winter Garden Theatre, with opening night set for Thursday, April 9. Though Mark has had a long history of acting gigs, from All My Children to Riverdale to the upcoming Scream 7, this is the first big role for Joaquin. The 22-year-old just graduated the University of Michigan School of Drama last spring.<\/p>\n That puts Ripa, of course, in a precarious position. “Every night, I’m going to have this choice, like, ‘Who do I see tonight?’ ” she explained on Live with Kelly and Mark on Wednesday, Jan, 21, after announcing news of Mark’s casting. “Do I go see my husband, or do I go see my beloved son?”<\/p>\n Chances are, Ripa will be at both, as will her other kids: elder son Michael Consuelos, 28, and daughter Lola Consuelos, 24<\/a>. The family is a tight-knit bunch, often supporting one another through their various endeavors.<\/p>\n But Ripa might need the most support. “Is the anxiety kicking in?” she asked Mark on Wednesday. “When you agreed to do it months ago, my anxiety kicked in!”<\/p>\n Mark, however, appeared to be stress free. “I’ve been wanting to do this,” he said. “I love getting on stage. It’s been years since I’ve had a chance to do it because of travel, and living here in New York City, I’m pretty much anchored here now. I’m trapped! So, I thought it would be a good idea!”<\/p>\n Back in July, PEOPLE caught up with the Live with Kelly and Mark hosts about the advice they gave Joaquin after his graduation.<\/p>\n “Slow and steady wins the race kind of thing,” Mark recalled.<\/p>\n “Also, the less we say the better, you know,” Ripa, 54, added. “Kids are more reticent to take advice from their parents, so we just keep it quiet, and we’ve been lucky so far. They’ve really turned out to be fabulous adults.
