Although martial arts superstar Jackie Chan<\/a>, 71, has been in showbiz for over 60 years, last Friday (Jan 16) marked his first ever appearance at Milan Men’s Fashion Week<\/a>, where he attended Chinese sportswear and equipment brand Li-Ning’s Fall\/Winter 2026 show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What caught people’s attention, however, was how out of place Jackie appeared at the event.<\/p>\n

Dressed in a light grey coat layered over a blue turtleneck and wearing no accessories, his understated look stood in stark contrast to the flashy, fashion-forward atmosphere around him.<\/p>\n

After seeing his extremely minimalist style, many netizens joked his outfit resembled the \u201cstandard dad look for a trip to the mall,\u201d teasing that he looked like \u201cthe uncle next door who accidentally wandered into a fashion show.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a first-time attendee, Jackie<\/a> was also likened to a curious, \u201cwide-eyed kid,\u201d holding up his phone<\/a> and eagerly snapping photos of the runway. His serious yet slightly lost expression reminded many of elders encountering something new for the first time \u2014 sort of like teaching your grandparents how to use TikTok.<\/p>\n

The moment quickly spawned memes (\u201cPOV: my dad at a fashion show\u201d), though many found the unexpected side of Jackie only made him seem even more \u201cadorable\u201d and \u201capproachable.\u201d<\/p>\n

On top of that, some fans were also lucky enough to run into Jackie outside the show venue.<\/p>\n

They worked up the courage to ask for an autograph but were initially turned down by staff, who cited Jackie\u2019s work obligations. Jackie, however, was said to have responded warmly, saying, \u201cSure! I\u2019ll sign it for you.\u201d<\/p>\n
