Former Star Wars<\/a> actors Jake Lloyd and Daniel Logan made a rare public appearance together, posing for a photo on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust spent the day with my brother #jakelloyd #anakin #skywalker #starwars #family,\u201d Logan captioned the post, in which he is smiling and holding up a peace sign, while Jake sits across the table. <\/p>\n

Lloyd portrayed the young Anakin Skywalker<\/a> in 1999\u2019s\u00a0\u201cStar Wars: Episode I \u2013 The Phantom Menace,\u201d while Logan played the young Boba Fett in 2002\u2019s\u00a0\u201cStar Wars: Episode II \u2013 Attack of the Clones.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jake Llyod Was Diagnosed With Schizophrenia<\/p>\n

The actor\u2019s mother, Lisa Lloyd, spoke with Scripps News<\/a> in 2024, revealing that Jake\u2019s mental health struggles began at a young age. <\/p>\n

\u201cJake started having some trouble in high school,\u201d Lisa told the outlet. \u201cHe started talking about \u2018realities.\u2019 He didn\u2019t know if he was in this reality, or a different reality. I didn\u2019t really know exactly what to say to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because of this, Lisa took her son to a doctor, who first mentioned that Jake could have bipolar disorder, but the medications he was prescribed didn\u2019t help him. At the same time, Jake graduated from high school and began attending Columbia College Chicago. However, he missed a lot of classes and began \u201cseeing people with \u2018black eyes\u2019 staring at him on the street, and having late-night conversations with \u201cDaily Show\u201d host Jon Stewart through his TV.\u201d<\/p>\n

He ultimately left college after a semester and a half, and went to live with his mother, where he was eventually diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen they finally told him, it totally threw him off into an even worse depression,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was really hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, he has gotten the help he needs, with Lisa speaking with Scripps News while Jake was in an 18-month stay at a mental health rehabilitation facility. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s doing much better than I expected,\u201d Lisa explained. \u201cHe is relating to people better and becoming a little bit more social, which is really nice. It\u2019s kind of like having more of the old Jake back, because he has always been incredibly social until he became schizophrenic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jake Llyod Says He Feels \u2018Pretty Good\u2019 In 2025 Interview <\/p>\n

In an interview with author Clayton Sandell<\/a> at the beginning of 2025, Lloyd shared an update regarding his schizophrenia diagnosis.<\/p>\n

\u201cPretty good, considering these 20 years of time that have come to an end,\u201d Jake said. \u201cI can now accept taking on continued treatment, therapy, and my meds. Everyone\u2019s been very supportive.\u201d<\/p>\n
