Get ready for it, folks, because Olivia Dean has topped the hottest 100 songs of 2025! Her jazzy, upbeat pop-soul track Man I Need has come in at No. 1 in this year\u2019s countdown.<\/p>\n
It was Dean\u2019s first time on the poll this year, beginning with Lady Lady at number 62. But she didn\u2019t stop there, appearing four times in the top 20. In addition to Man I Need, she also charted with So Easy (To Fall In Love) at No. 11 and Nice to Each Other at No. 7, as well as featuring on Sam Fender\u2019s Rein Me In, which placed 14th.<\/p>\n
The British singer, who performed at last year\u2019s ARIA Awards as the night\u2019s international music guest, has been on fire this past year after releasing her soulful second album The Art Of Loving (which, of course, includes Man I Need), which dramatically grew her already loyal fanbase.<\/p>\n
Her popularity signals a broader shift in voter preferences since last year\u2019s Hottest 100, when edgier pop tracks, such as those on Charli XCX\u2019s Brat album, dominated. This year, slower, more classic beats seemed to reign supreme, with bursts of electronic tracks from local artists in between.<\/p>\n
