Restaurant and bar staff member Maddy O\u2019Callaghan, who was on shift last night, says she signed a plate for the venue\u2019s celebrity wall, left a tip, and charmed staff with his down-to-earth attitude.<\/p>\n<p class=\"vwaNpWtPaxhXkxNi\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cWe were really taken aback when he was in Wellington. We were like, it would be so cool if he came. But obviously he didn\u2019t last week and then [he did last night]. Yeah, it was very, very out of the blue,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"vwaNpWtPaxhXkxNi\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cEveryone was very, very excited to see him. They were wanting to take photos and we were like, \u2018no, no, no, let\u2019s just leave him be\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"vwaNpWtPaxhXkxNi\" style=\"display:none\">It\u2019s not the first time Sheeran\u2019s flown under the radar here.
