Nelson is the founder of Trian Fund Management and has an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion, per Forbes. According to Hyde, \u201cFrom what I hear,\u201d the number sits at $1 million a month – a claim that immediately sparked side-eyes and speculation.<\/p>\n
That said, Page Six<\/a> reports the alleged allowance is flat-out “100%” false. Which means Hyde might be getting a cease-and-desist soon. A source pushed back hard on the rumor, telling the outlet, \u201cThe quote in question has no source because it is not true. It is simply a fabricated rumor made up from thin air.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Hyde also made allegations that the Beckham family operates very differently when it comes to financial support. \u201cFrom what I hear, I think [David and Victoria Beckham] give Brooklyn a lot of money but not insane money,” he said, adding, “they kind of have this dream to some degree that he will stand on his own two feet and become independent.”<\/p>\n She also claimed Nelson may have questioned that approach, adding, \u201cI hear \u2014 and maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this \u2014 but I hear that he said to [Victoria and David], \u2018I give my daughter a million-dollar month allowance.
