Guy Fieri has a brand-new series on Food Network, Flavortown Food Fight <\/p>\n

Guy Fieri <\/a>is bringing Flavortown to life in a brand-new competition series.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Jan. 29, Food Network announced Flavortown Food Fight will premiere Wednesday, March 4.<\/p>\n

\u201cLong referred to but never before seen, the mythical and delicious Flavortown will be the setting for this multi-round, culinary competition,\u201d reads a press release shared with PEOPLE.<\/p>\n

Each episode will see Fieri welcome three chefs to Flavortown to test their culinary chops.<\/p>\n

Contestants will compete in a variety of eateries with names inspired by the celebrity chef\u2019s life, including street food carts, neighborhood spots, fast casual restaurants and fine dining establishments.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the first time in television history, we\u2019re opening the gates of Flavortown and inviting some of America’s most talented chefs to showcase their skills in a never-ending list of off-the-hook restaurants that you\u2019ll only find here,\u201d Fieri said in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019ve been building out this universe for years and I\u2019m stoked to finally invite everybody in!\u201d<\/p>\n

Chefs will be tested on both culinary knowledge and technical skills in a series of rounds. The winner of each episode can score up to $20,000 in prize money and will return to battle two new chefs the next week.<\/p>\n

Each episode will include a skills challenge, followed by two rounds of cooking challenges, but only the final winner will take home the cash prize.<\/p>\n

As the mayor of Flavortown, Fieri, 58, will announce every episode\u2019s theme with son Hunter, 29, making appearances for some challenges. Two guest judges will also visit to weigh in on dishes.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Discovery first announced the show, with the working title Guy\u2019s Flavortown Games, in May 2025.<\/p>\n

The Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host is on the road to recovery after he fell down a flight of stairs<\/a> while filming the new series.<\/p>\n

Fieri \u201cslipped down a set of steps and one foot went forward and the other foot got caught on the threshold,\u201d he told Fox News Digital in November. The accident caused a tear in his quad muscles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m doing better,\u201d he told PEOPLE<\/a> earlier this month. \u201cIt was definitely a trying holiday, but you know what, you get some real appreciation for having the ability to just get up and walk around and do everything you used to.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI\u2019m a big CrossFit and hiking guy, so eight weeks of no hiking has driven me kind of crazy. But I\u2019m looking forward to it, trying to take it easy.\u201d<\/p>\n
