\n The exhibition will be hosted at Poole Museum from February 14 to June 21, 2026, part of a touring programme from the Victoria and Albert Museum.\n<\/p>\n
\n The exhibition, Lucian Freud\u2019s Etchings: A Creative Collaboration, looks into Freud\u2019s exploration into printmaking through a collection of intricate and rarely seen works, including a unique collection of trial proofs collected by master printer Marc Balakjian, who worked with Freud for more than 20 years.\n<\/p>\n
\n Jaine Fitzpatrick, interim director at Poole Museum, said: “This exhibition isn\u2019t just for art enthusiasts; it\u2019s for anyone who\u2019s curious or simply wants to take a pause.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Lucian’s work offers a fascinating glimpse into the creative process, and seeing these pieces up close is a truly special moment that could bring calm, controversy, clarity, or even spark a whole new area of your imagination.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The exhibition also highlights Freud\u2019s personal connection to Dorset, where he attended Bryanston School and later owned a home.\n<\/p>\n
