{"id":259562,"date":"2026-01-30T16:15:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-30T16:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/259562\/"},"modified":"2026-01-30T16:15:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T16:15:07","slug":"watch-kermit-the-frog-on-muppet-show-return-magic-johnson-yacht","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/259562\/","title":{"rendered":"Watch: Kermit the Frog on &#8216;Muppet Show&#8217; return, Magic Johnson yacht"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jan. 30 (UPI) &#8212; Kermit the Frog stopped by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upi.com\/topic\/Jimmy_Kimmel\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Jimmy Kimmel\" class=\"tpstyle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> Live Thursday to discuss The Muppet Show special and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upi.com\/topic\/Magic_Johnson\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Magic Johnson\" class=\"tpstyle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Magic Johnson<\/a>&#8216;s yacht.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was trying to get the special off the ground, which you know, it took a while, Jimmy,&#8221; Kermit explained <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/PcN6WnpZxKU?si=IjcRoQi5hllgTx0t\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">on the show.<\/a> &#8220;You know, it turns out that a lot of people in Hollywood say &#8216;yes,&#8217; when they actually mean &#8216;no.'&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>As the interview continued, Kimmel asked Kermit if he&#8217;d have any interest in guest hosting the show over the summer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yeah, I mean, that would be great,&#8221; Kermit responded. &#8220;But you know what?
