{"id":259566,"date":"2026-01-30T16:17:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-30T16:17:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/259566\/"},"modified":"2026-01-30T16:17:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T16:17:08","slug":"disney-pixar-film-hoppers-to-preview-at-new-york-childrens-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/259566\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney Pixar Film &#8216;Hoppers&#8217; To Preview At New York Children\u2019s Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tEXCLUSIVE: The New York International Children\u2019s Film Festival (NYICFF, February 28 \u2013 March 15) has scored a coup by locking in a preview of Disney Pixar film <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/hoppers\/\" id=\"auto-tag_hoppers\" data-tag=\"hoppers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hoppers<\/a> for its opening night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tMeryl Streep, Ego Nwodim, Dave Franco, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/piper-curda\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Piper Curda<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/bobby-moynihan\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bobby Moynihan<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/jon-hamm\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jon Hamm<\/a> are among voice cast for the film, which hits U.S. theaters on March 6. Daniel Chong directs the tale about a teenage animal lover who uses technology to place her consciousness into a robotic beaver in order to uncover mysteries within the animal world. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re so excited to be introducing the unique magic of Pixar artistry, as shaped by Daniel Chong\u2019s distinctive vision and wit, to a fresh generation of film fans,\u201d said NYICFF Director of Programming Maria-Christina Villase\u00f1or about the screening, which is effectively a world premiere. \u201cAs we\u2019re known for our world class animation slate, it feels fitting to be kicking things off with this highly anticipated new feature that promises not only to delight, but also asks us to consider how we value and respect each other across creature lines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe New York festival will kick off with a pajama party and red carpet earlier in the day. Among the program, is the U.S. premiere of animated film My Life In Versailles, about a recently orphaned 8-year-old who leaves her life in Paris to live with her uncle, a caretaker at the Palace of Versailles.
