Annie Murphy<\/a> is paying tribute to her co-star Catherine O\u2019Hara<\/a> following her shocking death.<\/p>\n

If you forgot, the two Emmy-winning actress starred alongside Dan<\/a> and Eugene Levy<\/a> in the hit comedy series Schitt\u2019s Creek<\/a>, which ran for six seasons from 2015 to 2020.<\/p>\n

After Catherine died on Friday (January 30) at the age of 71<\/a>, Annie, 39, took to Instagram<\/a> to honor her on-screen mom.<\/p>\n

Along with sharing photos of herself and Catherine, Annie also shared some of the career lessons she learned from the late actress.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe would have never presumed to call herself a teacher (too self-deprecating, too Canadian), but holy f\u2013k, was I ever a student,\u201d Annie wrote. \u201cHere are a few Coles Notes for those who also want to study: Giggles always. Jokes first. As long as they feel right in your bones.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you find the people you love and make you laugh, stick with your lovers and laughers,\u201d she continued. \u201cEverybody on set is a part of the community who (ideally) wants to make something great \u2013 treat them as such. Make suggestions, even if that means overstepping sometimes. Acknowledge if it doesn\u2019t work. Be appreciative to those who appreciate it when it does.\u201d<\/p>\n
