Broadcaster Miriam O\u2019Callaghan returned to her Limerick roots this week to headline Network Ireland Limerick\u2019s business event of the year.<\/p>\n

Last Wednesday, January 28, saw over 120 professional women gather at the Strand Hotel to discuss leadership, resilience, and the evolving role of women in modern Ireland.<\/p>\n

The event launched the 2026 programme under the leadership of the newly appointed Network Ireland Limerick President, Barbara MacCarthy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

MacCarthy\u2019s chosen theme for the year is ‘Lead The Way.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Lead The Way\u2019 is about connection, inclusion, and breaking down barriers for women in the workplace. She spoke about navigating the complexities of balancing a demanding career with personal life, offering the audience a look at the challenges even the most seasoned leaders face.<\/p>\n

With lots of activities planned for this year, MacCarthy expressed her commitment to supporting members across all facets of life, whether in the boardroom, the community, or at home.<\/p>\n
