The Buffalo Bills are making a major change to how fans experience game day.<\/p>\n

The Buffalo Bills<\/a> coaching staff will look vastly different next season. Former offensive coordinator Joe Brady is now head coach following the abrupt firing of Sean McDermott.<\/p>\n

Taking the reins as defensive coordinator is Jim Leonhard while Pete Carmichael assumes the role offensive coordinator. Jeff Rodgers is taking over the Bills\u2019 special special teams coordinator. Bills general manager Brandon Beane is also planning to shake up the roster underneath franchise quarterback Josh Allen.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve already started thinking about moves. I was honestly before this head coaching change already thinking about certain things we\u2019ll do. I\u2019ll have to circle back to some of that,\u201d Beane told reporters, as the team is projected to be around $15 to $20 million over the salary cap.<\/p>\n

While Bills fans hope these new changes lead to their first Super Bowl appearance under Allen next season, the team announced another major change on February 3 that immediately turned some heads.<\/p>\n

The Bills Cut Ties With Their Radio Programming, Will Announce Games From One Bills Live\"Brandon<\/p>\n

After 14 years of broadcasting the game on WGR-AM 550 and 950 AM-The Fan in Rochester, the team is making a change. \u201cThe Buffalo Bills announced today that the team will produce and distribute radio broadcasts for preseason, regular season and playoff games starting in 2026,\u201d per a team memo. \u201cIn addition, starting Monday, Feb. 9, One Bills Live will be distributed in-house.\u201d<\/p>\n

The games traditionally aired on WGR-AM 550 and Rochester affiliate 950-AM The Fan. Now, they will transition to streaming exclusively on the team\u2019s official website and app from 1 -3 p.m. every weekday, while \u201cOne Bills Live\u201d will continue to simulcast on MSG Western and New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe delivery of media content has changed dramatically over the years. We believe the model of in-house production, distribution, and sales will better position the organization to provide access to our fans as well as allow us to further engage with the local business community,\u201d said Pete Guelli, Bills President of Business Operations.<\/p>\n

The change came as a big surprise. WGRZ sports director Jon Scott posted<\/a>, \u201cThis is a really big deal and change.\u201d Spectrum Sports 360 anchor Mike Cairns commented<\/a>, \u201cHUGE!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Bills Mafia wasn\u2019t too thrilled about the switch. One fan posted<\/a>, \u201cThis is stupid.\u201d One man asked<\/a>, \u201cDumb. So I can\u2019t listen in the car?\u201d Another fan wrote<\/a>, \u201cThat\u2019s [expletive]. I love WGR550!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Buffalo Bills & Sabres Signed a Multiyear Contract Extension With Audacy\"Terry<\/p>\n

The Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres both signed multiyear radio broadcast contract extensions with Audacy. \u201cAs part of the partnership, WGR 550 (WGR-AM) will continue as the flagship radio station for the Bills and Sabres, airing all pre-, regular and postseason games for both teams,\u201d Audacy\u2019s statement<\/a> read.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re delighted to extend our partnerships with the Bills and Sabres to continue delivering premier gameday and supporting content,\u201d said Tim Holly<\/a>, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Buffalo.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese partnerships will allow WGR 550 to continue to serve as the home for everything fans need to stay up to date surrounding these two iconic franchises and we look forward to entertaining and informing our listeners throughout both teams\u2019 seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n
