The Oscar-winning star has been married three times before \u2013 to David Justice, Eric Benet and Olivier Martinez \u2013 and she explained that each breakup happened for a reason.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cAfter my third divorce, people started to say, \u2018What\u2019s wrong with her? She\u2019s crazy. She can\u2019t keep a man.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I would always argue, \u2018Who says I want to keep a man if he\u2019s not the right man?\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n
Now, she\u2019s incredibly happy with Hunt, adding: \u201cI\u2019m in the best relationship I have ever had.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last summer, Hunt insisted his proposal to Berry \u2013 who has Nahla, 18, with former boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and Maceo, 12, with Olivier \u2013 was \u201cstill on hold\u201d.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Today.com, Hunt said: \u201cI put out the proposal, and it\u2019s still on hold as you can see.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s just out there floating. You know, maybe you can encourage her.\u201d<\/p>\n
Berry added: \u201cWell, I\u2019ve been married three times. Van has been married once, and so no, we don\u2019t feel like we have to get married to validate our love in any way. We don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
At the time, she admitted she does think they will walk down the aisle one day.<\/p>\n
She teased: \u201cI think we will get married just because, out of the people I\u2019ve been married to, this is the person I should have married.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I feel like I should, we should get married, but it\u2019s not because we feel like we have to. I think it\u2019s something that we would like to do just because we want that expression.\u201d<\/p>\n
