In a series of Instagram posts two weeks ago, Brooklyn alleged his sports club owner and fashion designer parents were controlling and had sabotaged his relationship and wedding to heiress Nicola Peltz.<\/p>\n

A source close to Brooklyn told the Sun: \u201cThere is so much hurt and pain on his side, it would not be genuine to keep such a tribute on his body.\u201d<\/p>\n

The words \u201cLove you Bust\u201d \u2013 short for Buster, David\u2019s longtime nickname for his eldest son \u2013 had previously been tattooed in sprawling cursive letters beneath the anchor, but now appear faded, according to the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

David, 50, had a \u201cBuster\u201d neck tattoo done in 2015 in honour of Brooklyn, which was visible as recently as last week.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo see Brooklyn covering up Victoria\u2019s tattoo, and now the one he had for his dad, will sting,\u201d a source told the Sun.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt seems very cruel and will add salt to the wounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn has reportedly removed other family-themed tattoos in recent years, including a chest tattoo reading \u201cmama\u2019s boy\u201d.<\/p>\n

The online chef said his parents\u2019 obsession with keeping up appearances left him with \u201coverwhelming anxiety\u201d, which has \u201cdisappeared\u201d since he cut them off.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrand Beckham comes first,\u201d he said, commenting that his family prioritised \u201cpublic promotion and endorsements above all else\u201d.<\/p>\n

He continued, expressing his desire for \u201cpeace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family\u201d.<\/p>\n

Social media reaction to the updated tattoo was mixed.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeave the kid alone \u2013 No one truly knows what his family life was. One day he will be a parent \u2013 and he will get it!\u201d wrote one Facebook user.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s going to regret not working this out one day, very sad\u201d, said another.<\/p>\n

A third commented \u201cLife\u2019s too short, I think they all need to grow up\u201d.<\/p>\n
