A P\u0101p\u0101moa woman missing in the Kaimai Range has been found safe and well, police say.<\/p>\n

Nicola O\u2019Connor\u2019s house bus was found on Rapurapu Track in the Lower Kaimai area on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/p>\n
Search and rescue team spent yesterday searching the area without success, police said in a statement.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/p>\n
A police spokeswoman confirmed today O\u2019Connor had \u201cproactively made contact with police late this morning\u201d and that she was \u201csafe and well\u201d.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/p>\n
She also confirmed her bus was burnt out.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/p>\n
A\u00a0Bay of Plenty Times\u00a0reporter at the scene said police tape was visible down an unmarked track.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/p>\n
The Rapurapu Kauri Track, located off SH29 on the Matamata side of the Kaimai Range, is a popular day walk for trampers.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/p>\n
O\u2019Connor, 42, was travelling in the grey-coloured Nissan in the Bay of Plenty and Matamata area days before the vehicle was found.<\/p>\n
