Zayn Malik<\/a> has announced his biggest solo tour to date, including a show at The O2 in London \u2013\u00a0buy tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer is set to play 31 dates on his \u2018Konnakol\u2019 world tour, taking in arenas and stadiums across the UK, North America and South America. The announcement comes a day after he shared the news of his upcoming LP, also called \u2018Konnakol\u2019<\/a> while the lead single, \u2018Die For Me\u2019, comes out tomorrow (February 6).<\/p>\n

Malik will begin the tour in his native UK with a show at Manchester\u2019s AO Arena on May 12, before heading to Glasgow, Birmingham and London.<\/p>\n

In June, he\u2019ll head to Mexico for three shows before a run of shows in the US across July, August and September. October will see him play in Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Peru, before he returns to the US in November to round off the tour.<\/p>\n

Malik\u2019s tour news comes after the former One Direction<\/a> singer wrapped up his Las Vegas residency<\/a>. While at Dolby Live at Park MGM, Las Vegas, he debuted and teased unreleased material from \u2018Konnakol\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Along with \u2018Die For Me\u2019, he debuted four other unheard songs in the form of \u2018Nusrat\u2019, \u2018Used To The Blues\u2019, \u2018Fatal\u2019 and \u2018Take Turns\u2019 at the gigs. Throughout the residency, fans could also take part in a \u2018Z5\u2019 listening booth experience where they could hear snippets of his new material.<\/p>\n

Malik also joked about ticket prices, making a remark some fans interpreted as a lighthearted nod to discussions<\/a> around the cost of his old bandmate Harry Styles<\/a>\u2019 upcoming Wembley Stadium shows<\/a>. \u201cHopefully the ticket prices weren\u2019t too high \u2013 just saying!\u201d he joked while thanking fans for coming to see him.<\/p>\n

Since leaving the group in 2015, Malik has rarely performed live. His most recent solo tour, the \u2018Stairway To The Sky\u2019 tour for his 2024 album \u2018Room Under The Stairs<\/a>\u2019, was his first-ever solo tour.<\/p>\n

Speaking about \u2018Konnokol\u2019, Malik said: \u201cIt\u2019s that time again, I have been lucky enough to make a fifth studio album\u2026\u2018Konnakol\u2019 in its definition is the act of creating percussive sounds with one\u2019s voice but what it means to me lies somewhere much deeper.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a sound that holds the reverberation of a time before words existed. I have always drawn on my heritage for inspiration since I first started making my own music \u2013 this album is a development of that understanding, knowing more now than ever, who I am, where I come from and where I intend to go.\u201d<\/p>\n
