As reported by Us Weekly<\/a>, a source told them that the couple\u2019s new home is worth $27.4 million. The person further claimed that the retired comedian and the \u201cScandal\u201d actor \u201care still planning to live full-time in the U.K.\u201d The source then explained that, however, the couple \u201cwill spend a few months of the year in Montecito.\u201d<\/p>\n According to the news outlet, in 2024, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi moved to the countryside in the UK. The retired comedian and host sat for a live conversation with Richard Bacon, the well-known English broadcaster. Per the news outlet, during their conversation, the former comedian expressed that her life in the quiet countryside with her wife is \u201cabsolutely beautiful.\u201d She continued, \u201cWe\u2019re just not used to seeing this kind of beauty.\u201d<\/p>\n The news outlet further reported that, at the time, Ellen DeGeneres also explained, \u201cThe villages and the towns and the architecture \u2014 everything you see is charming.\u201d DeGeneres continued, \u201cAnd it\u2019s just a simpler way of life.\u201d <\/p>\n She further expressed her fondness for the place by saying, \u201cIt\u2019s clean.
