Maltese artist Antonella Vella, known professionally as Artinella, has represented Malta in a major international digital art exhibition held in the heart of Rome, just minutes away from the Vatican and Saint Peter\u2019s Basilica.<\/p>\n

The exhibition ran over two days, from 24th to 25th January, featuring artworks displayed on two monumental LED billboards located in front of Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the Eternal City\u2019s most iconic and heavily frequented areas.<\/p>\n

Artinella was the only Maltese artist selected to take part, exhibiting alongside artists from 70 countries, with more than 500 artists and over 700 artworks showcased in total. Each artwork was displayed for 30 seconds every minute, from 7am to 11pm, giving the exhibition exceptional visibility across both days.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor two days, art takes over the city with exceptional visibility,\u201d Vella said, describing the experience as \u201camazing\u201d, especially seeing both her artworks and Malta represented on a massive billboard surrounded by Rome\u2019s history and culture.<\/p>\n

She added that she felt \u201chonoured and privileged\u201d to represent her work on such a global stage, particularly as Malta\u2019s sole representative among artists from around the world.<\/p>\n

The Rome exhibition transformed one of the city\u2019s most recognisable viewpoints into an open-air digital gallery, placing contemporary art directly into the everyday flow of one of Europe\u2019s most visited capitals.<\/p>\n
