According to Navbharat Times, Mumait said she never planned to step away from films. \u201cI did not leave the industry, I met with an accident. Five veins in my brain ruptured. Doctors advised me not to work for at least seven years.\u201d The damage was severe. Lifting anything felt impossible. Seizures followed.She added, \u201cI was taking medicine for epileptic fits, because of which my weight increased a lot.\u201d The forced pause hurt, but she tried to see meaning in it. \u201cGod made me Mumait Khan and then He stopped it. Mumait Khan’s life after films and new career<\/p>\n

Born to a Pakistani father and a South Indian mother, Mumait grew up in Mumbai watching her family struggle with money. She remembered walking to school to save coins. \u201cOur parents never asked us to earn. As we grew older, my sister and I felt money was falling short. I would save 1.50 rupees and give it to Papa. He never asked, but I liked doing it.\u201dFame arrived early. She began working at 13 and became widely known at 18. After \u2018Dehka Le,\u2019 she appeared in films such as \u2018Hulchul,\u2019 \u2018Lucky: No Time for Love,\u2019 \u2018Rowdy Rathore,\u2019 \u2018Chatrapathi,\u2019 and \u2018Pokiri.\u2019 Then the accident froze her momentum.Her mother held the family together. \u201cMy mother took care of me financially. Even today, before any big purchase, I call her. I cannot spend money casually.\u201dDuring recovery, she discovered a new passion. \u201cIn those seven years, I got time to think about what I really like, and I realized it is makeup and hairstyle.\u201dShe opened her training space in Hyderabad to raise standards locally. \u201cI used to bring my team from Mumbai, so I wanted to bring that level here.\u201dMumait Khan has shifted her focus to building a steady life and work routine away from constant screen appearances. She now spends much of her time at WeLyke Academy, where she works in the makeup and hair space and mentors learners.
