The Prince and Princess of Wales have snuck away to enjoy a holiday in the French Alpine ski resort.<\/p>\n

The future King and Queen were seen last month as they attended a restaurant in the mountains, where a toastie will set visitors back \u00a374. <\/p>\n

Diners at the restaurant spotted William and Catherine in their ski gear as they enjoyed a meal.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey had a very nice time and were very polite,\u201d a staff member told the Daily Mail. <\/p>\n

A diner at the restaurant was shocked to have come across the royals, saying: \u201cI couldn’t believe I was having lunch in the same restaurant as Catherine and William.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey looked adorable in their beanie hats.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is not known whether the couple were joined by their three children, Prince George, 12, Prince Louis, seven, and Princess Charlotte, 10, on the trip to the French slopes. <\/p>\n

The Prince and Princess of Wales first took a trip to the French mountains in 2016 and the couple are known for enjoying private holidays at ski resorts across the world.<\/p>\n

In January 2025, the Waleses enjoyed a trip with the Middleton family on the ski slopes.<\/p>\n

The trip marked the first time that Catherine had left the UK following her cancer announcement in March 2024. <\/p>\n

A staff member said at the time: “It was lovely to see Catherine relaxing and enjoying herself. They looked like a normal English family, and a lot of people didn’t recognise them.<\/p>\n

“It was not the first time we had seen them. They have been coming here for years. I think they love the area. We often see Catherine’s sister, Pippa, as well.”<\/p>\n

George, Charlotte, and Louis reportedly arrived at the restaurant on skis, suggesting they are competent on the slopes.<\/p>\n

James Middleton, 37, also spent time with his older sister while on her winter getaway, including at the restaurant.<\/p>\n

An onlooker said: “James was there with his wife and then Catherine arrived with Charlotte and Louis. It seemed like a bit of a Middleton family knees-up. Everyone seemed to be really happy.”<\/p>\n

The couple first took a trip the French Alps in 2016, but the love of skiing for both started well before, with Cathering being pictured in 2005 on the slopes (stock pic)<\/p>\n

They added: “There were no airs and graces and actually they seemed like any normal family enjoying a ski break. There were lots of laughs and the children were very polite.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only reason you would have known that they were people of importance was because when Catherine arrived so did a group of security guards.
