And he really proved it by having two people get married ahead of Lady Gaga\u2019s salsa rendition of \u201cDie With a Smile.\u201d Benito\u2019s reps confirmed in a press release that the happy couple wasn\u2019t just an act for the show. \u201cAfter inviting Bad Bunny to attend their wedding, the couple was instead invited to be part of the Apple Music Halftime Show,\u201d it read, \u201cwhere they were married live, with him serving as a witness and signing the marriage certificate, complete with a wedding cake.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"clay-paragraph\" data-editable=\"text\" data-uri=\"www.vulture.com\/_components\/clay-paragraph\/instances\/cmlejzsfg000y3b7a8fr2tl0m@published\" data-word-count=\"137\">Bad Bunny\u2019s selection as the halftime headliner has been inundated with controversy. Kristi Noem promised ICE would be at the event. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/article\/turning-point-usa-all-american-super-bowl-halftime-show.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Turning Point USA<\/a> had its own alterna prom that ran slightly before Benito\u2019s celebration got started. Trump called the halftime show \u201can affront to the Greatness of America\u201d on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/consequence\/status\/2020685833083167110\" rel=\"nofollow\">Truth Social<\/a>. And right before the big show, Jake Paul tweeted his distaste. \u201cTurn off this halftime,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jakepaul\/status\/2020615566436815275?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">he wrote<\/a>. \u201cA fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.\u201d How dumb do these people look when the thing they\u2019re tearing their hair out over is, like, a wedding? Bad Bunny even said \u201cGod Bless America\u201d right before a parade of flags from the Spanish-speaking world.
