Batman<\/a> is coming back soon, and the Joker is one of the villains that are present in the Dark Knight project, with the DC<\/a> character sporting a striking design. Batman’s animated movies and shows<\/a> serve to showcase the Dark Knight’s presence across all media. Not only is Bruce Wayne the hero with the most successful comics, but that also extends to other adaptations.<\/p>\n

DC’s upcoming releases<\/a> include two Batman movies. One of the live-action entries is The Batman 2, part of director Matt Reeves’ The Batman franchise. The other is The Brave and the Bold, which recasts Bruce Wayne for James Gunn’s DC Universe<\/a>. At least one of those will feature the Joker, Batman’s biggest villain, who also appears in the hero’s returning animated series.<\/p>\n

DC Has Revealed What Batwheels Season 3’s Joker Looks Like<\/p>\n

Batwheels<\/a> debuted on HBO Max on September 17, 2022. The animated series takes the focus away from the Bat-Family to highlight their vehicles. With that setup, the DC animated series makes itself well-suited for young viewers, as vehicles like the Batmobile, the Bat-Wing, and more come to life in the same way that the popular Pixar Cars franchise found global success.<\/p>\n

The Joker is part of pretty much every Batman project or franchise, and that is no different when it comes to Batwheels. Ahead of the second part of Batwheels season 3, which arrives on HBO Max on February 6, DC officially revealed the villain’s design for the show’s latest year. The Joker appears in Batwheels season 3, episode 3, “The Tumbler Begins.”<\/p>\n

The episode is named after Christian Bale’s Batmobile from The Dark Knight franchise, which just debuted as a new vehicle for the animated series’ Batman in Batwheels season 3. The Joker’s design includes a dark purple suit with a colorful tie and sash, yellow and pink lapel flower, chalk white skin, neon-green hair, a red nose and years, a top hat, and polka dot pants.<\/p>\n

How Batwheels Season 3’s Joker Compares To Other Versions Of The DC Villain?<\/p>\n

The Joker’s colorful design in Batwheels is starkly different from what should be the character’s next live-action appearance. As shown in The Batman and its deleted scene, Barry Keoghan’s Joker has a scarred face, little hair, and looks grotesque, unlike the happy-go-lucky take on the villain in the Batman animated series.<\/p>\n

When it comes to live-action Joker designs, the closest there is to Batwheels’ version of the Batman villain is Cesar Romero’s Joker from the 1966 Batman TV series. While there are still key differences between the two designs, Romero’s Joker is notably more cartoonish, going for the same tone as the non-menacing, more trickster-like Joker who attempts to become Gotham’s mayor in the Batman series.<\/p>\n
