The structure positions TAP as an\u00a0open partner to the wider financial advice ecosystem, with a focus on\u00a0championing independent advice,\u00a0building sustainable business capability\u00a0and supporting more efficient advice delivery. The approach is framed around four priorities:\u00a0backing advisers rather than controlling them,\u00a0working with associations, groups and licensees,\u00a0using technology and data to lift performance, and\u00a0expanding access to advice as firms become more efficient and confident.<\/p>\n
TAP Chairperson Naomi Ballantyne says the move aligns with a broader shift towards\u00a0shared infrastructure\u00a0in the sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cHistorical competition around alignment is ending and that\u2019s a good thing for everyone. The next phase is about empowerment. It\u2019s about platforms and providers working together to give advisers what they need to thrive \u2013 systems, data, and support that are independent of alignment or control,\u201d Ballantyne said.<\/p>\n
