Nothing is opening the Beta of Essential Apps, a new way to create apps built around the user.<\/p>\n

Instead of standard apps made for everyone, Essential Apps lets you describe what you need in plain language.<\/p>\n

The Essential Apps Builder turns it into a working app for your home screen. Previous versions can be restored with one click.<\/p>\n

The Beta is currently available on Phone (3) devices with access expanding gradually through a waitlist.<\/p>\n

Essential Apps currently support Location, Calendar (read-only), and Contacts. This lets users make reminders, agendas and one-tap contact widgets.<\/p>\n

Future updates will add camera, microphone, notifications, weather, and more widget sizes.<\/p>\n

The brand\u2019s Playground is where users can for create, explore, and share apps and connects with Nothing\u2019s other tools like Essential Space, Essential Search, and Essential Memory.<\/p>\n

Essential Apps will roll out to more devices later this year.<\/p>\n
