But this way, there\u2019s no guilt. I can just be free and speak to whoever I want,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content \">Zayn also added that being single felt freeing and that he\u2019s comfortable spending time alone. \u201cI don\u2019t find being alone scary. I\u2019m cool with myself,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Maybe it wasn\u2019t love\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n<p>When asked if he still stood by his 2024 confession on The Zach Sang Show \u2014 where he claimed he\u2019d never been in love \u2014 Zayn said his views on love have changed with age. \u201c\u2026my understanding of love is always developing. At that moment in time, I might have thought it was love, but as I\u2019ve got older, I\u2019ve realised maybe it wasn\u2019t. Maybe it was lust,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content \">However, he made it clear that he holds no resentment toward Gigi. \u201cI will always love G because she\u2019s the reason my child is on this earth. And I have the utmost respect for her\u2026 But I don\u2019t know if I was ever in love with her,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content \">The rare interview marks one of Zayn Malik\u2019s most personal revelations yet.
