Firefighters were first called to the fire at 2.14am. They arrived to find the upper floor of a two-storey building \u201cwell ablaze\u201d, Fire and Emergency northern shift manager Lauren Sika said.<\/p>\n

Seven fire crews as well as two support vehicles attended the scene, with two crews still on standby this morning, she said.<\/p>\n

Nobody was reported injured in the fire and no other buildings appeared to have been damaged.<\/p>\n

It was the second major blaze in a commercial building in Onehunga in the past month, after fire ripped through buildings on Onehunga Mall<\/a> on January 25.<\/p>\n

The cause of that fire will never be determined<\/a> as the damaged building has been demolished due to safety concerns.<\/p>\n
