Death in Paradise won’t be back tonight as expected with a new episode three release date announced.<\/p>\n

Death in Paradise viewers have been let down as their beloved cosy crime drama won’t be broadcast in its regular time slot this evening.<\/p>\n

DI Mervin Wilson (played by Don Gilet<\/a>) and the remainder of his team made their comeback for series 15 last month with yet more intricate murder cases to solve on the beautiful island of Saint Marie.<\/p>\n

Mervin also faced the challenge of becoming familiar with his estranged half-brother Solomon (Daniel Ward<\/a>) who proved to be a criminal, so they decided it was better for them to go their separate ways.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, viewers are not going to be able to discover what unfolds next this week owing to an unexpected scheduling alteration.<\/p>\n

Why is Death in Paradise not on tonight?<\/p>\n

Death in Paradise won’t be showing this week because the FA Cup<\/a> fixture between Hull City and Chelsea will instead be screened in its slot this evening, Friday, February 13.<\/p>\n

Whilst this is welcome news for football enthusiasts, it does cause disruption for those who were anticipating episode three’s arrival.<\/p>\n

But don’t panic, as it’s already been confirmed when Death in Paradise will be back with series 15, episode three, landing on Monday, February 16, at 9pm on BBC<\/a> One and BBC iPlayer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If audiences aren’t prepared to wait that long though then there is an alternative as Death in Paradise’s newest episode will be ready to stream from 8.45pm tonight, February 13, on BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n

And judging by the episode’s official description, it won’t be one viewers will want to skip. The description states: “Mervin and the team are left perplexed when a reclusive pensioner is shot dead in his home.<\/p>\n

“A prime suspect is quickly established in the form of an unassuming accountant.”<\/p>\n

It goes on: “The evidence seems damning \u2013 a figure matching the suspect’s description was witnessed fleeing the crime scene.<\/p>\n

“And when questioned, there’s clearly something shifty about this guy. The only problem? He’s got a rock-solid alibi.<\/p>\n

“Meanwhile, the commissioner is determined to get the islanders back on side with a community-focused initiative.<\/p>\n

“But tensions rise when Mervin goes rogue during the launch event.”<\/p>\n
