Netflix<\/a> has just dropped the trailer for its upcoming horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. Described as “horror\u2019s take on a woman becoming a wife”, the new series stars The Night Manager’s Camila Morrone opposite The White Lotus star Adam DiMarco. <\/p>\n

The atmospheric horror<\/a> sees the respective pair portray bride-and-groom duo Rachel and Nicky, with the action following them in the week leading up to their “ill-fated nuptials”. <\/p>\n

The synopsis reads: “Rachel is getting married in five days. Together with her fianc\u00e9, Nicky, she embarks on a road trip to his family’s vacation home, secluded in a snowy forest, for the intimate wedding ceremony of their dreams. <\/p>\n

“Which really would be so lovely, except… prone to superstition and paranoia, Rachel can’t shake the relentless feeling that something bad is going to happen. <\/p>\n

“Her foreboding doubts, coupled with a series of eerie coincidences and dreadful surprises, force her to ask the question: What makes two people soulmates? And worse \u2014 what could be scarier than lifelong commitment to the wrong person?”<\/p>\n

Per the new teaser trailer, which was released today, it looks like something very bad is indeed going to happen, and the tension builds throughout. <\/p>\n

The opening scene sees Morrone’s character walk into shot dressed in a wedding dress while breathing heavily, before saying: “I’m sorry.”<\/p>\n

As the anxiety-filled trailer continues, Rachel walks down the aisle while clips of various characters apologising play. One notable clip shows an undisclosed character holding up a piece of paper that reads: “Don’t marry him.”<\/p>\n

Whether or not Rachel will go ahead with marrying Nicky remains to be seen. Luckily, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out, as the series<\/a> is slated for release on Netflix on 26 March. <\/p>\n

Joining Morrone and DiMarco in the cast are Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome, Gus Birney, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine and Sawyer Fraser.<\/p>\n

Created by Haley Z Boston, the show sees Baby Reindeer’s Weronika Tofilska take on directing duties alongside Axelle Carolyn and Lisa Br\u00fchlmann.<\/p>\n

Stranger Things’ Hilary Leavitt, Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer are on board to executive produce for Upside Down Productions.<\/p>\n
