Herzog & de Meuron<\/a> has designed a new mixed-use<\/a> development in the Dubai<\/a> International Financial Centre. The project, titled Janu Dubai, spans 1.3 million square feet and will include hospitality, residential, office, and retail functions.<\/p>\n

The residential<\/a> component of the scheme comprises a mix of two to five-bedroom units and a triplex penthouse. Residences feature ceiling heights of up to 11.5 feet, large-format windows, plaster-finished walls, natural wood flooring, and stone kitchens and bathrooms. Upper units are oriented to capture views of landmarks, including Burj Khalifa<\/a>, Zabeel Palace, and the Dubai skyline.<\/p>\n

Amenities on the 34th floor include an infinity pool, fitness centre, lounges, and dining areas. The scheme also includes a 150-room hotel<\/a>, office space, and ground-level retail and food and beverage outlets arranged around landscaped courtyards.<\/p>\n
