Instead, its tadpoles are the same size as an average frog tadpole.<\/p>\n<p>More fascinating frog facts<\/p>\n<p>During a survey by the <a href=\"https:\/\/bristolzoo.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Bristol Zoological Society<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indefor-ap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">INDEFOR-AP<\/a>, the national park service of Equatorial Guinea, the species was seen in Equatorial Guinea for the first time in almost two decades.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the team came out of the forest they were overjoyed to share the news. This incredible frog hasn\u2019t been officially confirmed in the national park by INDEFOR-AP for almost two decades,\u201d said Dr Gr\u00e1inne McCabe, Head of Field Conservation and Science at Bristol Zoological Society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, it was only seen in one small section of the survey area, indicating it needs to be better protected.
